Rhonda McDonnell is an English professor at Scottsdale Community College. In conjunction with the Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism at Texas Tech University, she has published and presented at conferences her work on Walker Percy’s literature and semiotic anthropology. As a novelist she focuses on the persistence of hope in a fractured world. She has rescued and been rescued by a Catahoula Leopard Dog and an English Shepherd, who serve as inspiration for her current work-in-process. In 2011, she resolved to visit at least one new place every year. Happily, she continues to achieve this goal.
